About Farghana Institute
The Farghana Institute is a non-profit establishment which aims to revive the classical Islamic sciences and produce scholars of a calibre that can truly represent Islam in the 21st century. We endeavour to provide meaningful and relevant Islamic teachings to the Muslims in Britain. The Institute has also commenced work to establish links and open up dialogue with other faith communities as well as with academic institutions. The intention is to build relationships and to promote understanding between the various communities, helping to generate an atmosphere of mutual respect, peace and harmony.
Aims and Objectives
- To provide a high quality, authentic and traditional Islamic education to the Muslim youth.
- To inculcate educational, spiritual and ethical values in our students.
- Equip our students with the necessary tools to lead an exemplary practical life.
- To produce sincere and competent scholars and teachers who are motivated and dedicated to serving their communities.
- To provide clarity and to eradicate confusions on issues facing Muslims in the United Kingdom.
- To propagate close and sincere emulation of every aspect of the Holy Prophet's life (peace be upon him).
- Teach political awareness and to increase mutual understanding while living peacefully and securely in a non-Islamic country.
