Shaykh As'ad Muhammad Saeed as-Sagharji

Shaykh As'ad Muhammad Saeed as-Sagharji lives in Damascus. He is one of the greatest Faqihs (jurists) of Syria. He is author of the famous work "al-Fiqh al-Hanafi wa Adillatuhu". In addition to his authority as a great Jurist he is also a profoundly spiritual personality and is a murshid, spiritual guide, in the Shadhili spiritual path.

His works are included as part of syllabuses in Islamic colleges and universities all over the world including at the prestigious al-Azhar of Egypt. Shaykh as-Sagharji is the Head Imam of renowned Jami'ah Masjid 'Umawi (Ummayad Mosque), comprising 7 permanent imams who are among the religious authorities and scholars of Syria. He is currently teaching students at Farghana Institute.

Shaykh Muhammad Ramadan Qadri

Shaykh Muhammad Ramadan al-Qadri has studied various disciplines under Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for over 10 years covering a wide range of classical texts. These include al-Shifa of Qadi `Iyad, Fawz-ul-Kabiir of Imam Shah Waliullah and numerous other texts, especially in the field of spirituality where he covered the Mathnavi of Rumi.

His others teachers include Shaykh al-Hadith Mi'raj al-Islam and Mufti Abdul Qayyum Hazarvi under whom he excelled in the various Islamic disciplines and arts. The Shaykh possesses various Ijazat (teaching licenses) from his teachers; particularly certain unique and elevated chains from Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. The Shaykh is a gifted and prolific speaker and has numerous students across the world.

Many qualified scholars from Jamia al-Islamia Minhaj-ul-Qur'an are from among his students. He currently resides in Manchester and teaches traditional sciences at Farghana Institute.

Shaykh Atabek Shukurov Nasafi

At the young age of ten, Shaykh Atabek Shukurov Nasafi began his religious studies in his native Uzbekistan. He studied under local scholars such as Shaykh Sayyid Karim Namangany and Shaykh Mohammed Jaan, under whose guidance he began to memorise the Qur’an.

He completed his studies at the age of 21 in various subjects including Arabic Language, Hadith, Fiqh, Tafsir and Tajwid at Madrasa Abul Qasim and Jamia Islamia in Uzbekistan.

In 1998 he moved to Damascus, Syria, for higher studies with some of the finest scholars of our time. He enrolled on a four year “al-Ijaza al-Alimiyya” programme at the Takhassus Institute which is affiliated to Al Azhar University, Egypt. During this time his studies included: Sharh Ibn Aqeel with Sh. Atiyya, Sharh Fiqh al-Akbar with Sh. Adeeb al-Kallas, Lubab with Sh. Abdullah Rabiah, Aqida with Sh. Saeed Ramadan al-Buti, Risala Qushariyya with Sh. Abdul Fatah Bizm, Hadith with Sh. Sadiq Darwish, Da’wa with Sh. Tawfiq al-Buti.

Whilst continuing his studies at the institute he also focused on intensive private lessons with Shaykh Muhammed Adnan Darwish and covered Fath Bab al-Inaya and the Mu’atta Imam Malik. He also studied Shudhoor al-Dhab, Sharh Qatar al-Nida, Thufatal Mureed and Mukhtasar al-Bukhari with Shaykh Rushdi al-Qalam.

He graduated in 2003 after spending the final year at Al Azhar University and was given certification by the Faculty of Theology and Philosophy.

Qari Muhammad Mubashir Anwar

Brother Mubashir commenced Hifz-ul-Qur'an at a very early age in his home town of Manchester. He began reciting the Holy Qur'an to admiring audiences in public at the tender age of 10. He completed the memorisation of the Qur'an and thus became a Hafiz with Shaykh Abdur-Raziq al-Azhari at Jami'a Masjid al-Husayn in Cairo, Egypt.

Whilst in Egypt he was authorised via oral permission in recitation and sought advice from various Qurra including Shaykh al-Muqri' Ahmad Amir al-Azhari, Shaykh al-Qari Muhammad Jibreel, and Shaykh Ahmad Nu'aina. During his time in Egypt he also studied Arabic Language and Arabic Musical notes/modes (Maqamaat) in Cairo.
